I took my car in to get repaired and they said they fixed what needed to be fixed , but not even a week later the check engine light went on.
Raquel, we completely understand how frustrating it is to see a check engine light come on shortly after having repairs done, especially after you just invested in your vehicle. That’s never the experience we want for our customers. When you first came in on March 26, your concern was jerking while driving. At that time, there was no check engine light on. Because of the drivability concern, we performed a full drivability diagnosis and recommended replacing the spark plugs, ignition coils, and serpentine belt based on our findings. After those repairs, the vehicle was operating properly. When you returned on March 31 with the check engine light illuminated, we diagnosed it at no charge and found a camshaft sensor fault. That component is separate from the previous repairs. With your older vehicle, it’s possible for unrelated issues to surface over time, and sometimes new faults appear after an initial issue has been corrected. We truly value your business and understand your concern. Our goal is always to be transparent, thorough, and to stand behind the work we perform. We’re happy to review everything with you again if needed. Thanks, The Quality Tune Up Car Care Team
